Pescatore Seafood will be present at Conxemar Vigo Spain 2023

The Association of Wholesalers, Importers, Processors and Exporters of Seafood and Aquaculture Products, Conxemar, which represents 230 companies and concentrates 73.74% of the turnover of the industry and marketing of frozen seafood products in Spain and 7 out of 10 jobs in the sector, is organizing the XXIV International Fair of Frozen Seafood, during the next 3, 4 and 5 October, at the Instituto Ferial de Vigo (IFEVI), and of course, Pescatore Seafood, will be present.
In this edition Conxemar 2023 will show the latest in frozen seafood products.
In this twenty-fourth edition, the Fair is renewed under the BlueTransformation concept, focusing on innovation and sustainability, and will have a greater international presence, both in country pavilions and in foreign and European exhibiting companies, in a total space of 37,000 m2. A rationalization of space has made it possible to increase the exhibition area by 1,300 m2 in 2023, to exceed the 700 exhibitors and 26,000 professionals of the last edition. B2B face-to-face and digital meetings and side events will also be promoted, and a special area will be set up for new products.
It is important to highlight that the XI Conxemar-FAO Congress will be held on October 2 at the Afundación Vigo headquarters, where the urgency of rethinking the value chain of seafood products from a sustainable perspective will be emphasized.
For its part, the XXIV International Fair of Frozen Seafood Products will open its doors from October 3 to 5 at the Instituto Ferial de Vigo (Ifevi), with a clear focus on the exhibition of innovation and sustainability of the entire sector.
In 2022, the fair brought together more than 26,000 industry professionals from over one hundred countries, with more than 700 exhibitors occupying a total area of more than 37,000 square meters.
